My Cooper is home! He was gone all last week for scout camp. He is home for the rest of the summer. He has weights and football camp but they are here and for a few hours a day. We missed him while he was gone. He came home full of mosquito bites, tired and grumpy. But after a good night's sleep he was back to his old self.

Adam while loading up the van to watch fireworks on the 4th of July: "Where's my people?" My people? Where does this kid get these things?!
Craig to Adam: You are loud! Are you loud?
Adam: No, I quiet... no, I happy!
Adam: while waiting for the fireworks to begin we saw a man dressed in flag apparel from head to toe and Adam said: "He's all flaggey!" Good thing it wasn't loud enough for the man to hear. But we had a good laugh.
This was yesterday while I was making zuchinni bread (with zuchinni from our garden, yum!). Adam comes is with his light saber and says: " I going to touch the roof with the light saver!
Me: Don't you do it.
Adam: Too bad, I touched the roof.
He got a time out. Stinker!

Caleb has been very vocal lately about how much his dislikes Justin Beiber. So we were teasing him and said he probably really likes him. So I said I was going to get him a JB poster. He responded with: "Only if you get me some darts!" Of course he thought he was pretty funny!

The kids have been watching Looney Tunes and Craig told them about a Bugs Bunny episode where the guy sings: Kill the wabbit, kill the wabbit! So now we have mostly Adam going around the house singing, "kill the wabbit, kill the wabbit!" Add that to the fact that we have established that the real rabbits around the neighborhood eat our garden and they should be chased off and it doesn't look like we are very animal friendly. Especially when Adam grabs a ball gun and wants to go shoot the rabbits. Now we just need him to grab the ball gun, go outside and chase the rabbits while singing, "kill the wabbit!" And Caleb managed to record that exact episode, pretty funny stuff!

At the Annual Louisburg Fishing Derby. It was overcast and eventually we got rained out but it was still fun.

Chunkers ended up cathing 3! Cooper was on a TSA club trip so that's why he wasn't with us.

and more baseball. Cooper and Caleb played this summer. They had a decent season enjoyed playing.
At Bishop Sample's fireworks show. He puts on a great show! 
Swimming with the cousins! Brydon and Nicole came up from Oklahoma for the 4th. Those kids have so much fun together!
It's been a good summer so far. Cooper is off again this week for scout camp. Next week he has football camp, but that's here in town for a few hours in the evening. It has been weird to have Cooper gone so much. We sure miss him. Looking forward to many more days hanging out at the pool and grilled dinners!
